Note: In order to connect Facebook Ads to Zapier, you will need 'Zapier Premium'.
Step 1:
Create a new Zap, and select 'Facebook Lead Ads' as the Trigger for step one.
Step 2:
After selecting 'Facebook Lead Ads' as our trigger, select 'New Lead' (this should be the only option) as the 'Event'. Click 'Continue'.
Step 3:
Select the Facebook Account that has access to the Ads/Lead Forms from the 'Facebook Lead Ads account' dropdown. If this is not readily available, you may need to select '+ Connect a new account'. Click 'Continue'.
Step 4:
Select the page that the ads are running for from the 'Page' dropdown, and then select the form. If all forms contain the same fields and we want all to flow into Liine, then we can select 'All Forms'.
If there are multiple forms for different purposes, then we will want to set up a unique Zap for each form.
Click 'Continue'.
Step 5:
Select a recent lead from the dropdown in the 'Test trigger' step.
If one does not appear after selecting 'Load More', then you may need to submit a test via Facebook in order to proceed (Help Article).
Click 'Continue'.
Step 6:
For 'Step 2' of the Zap, select 'Webhooks by Zapier' as the app.
Step 7:
Select 'POST' from the 'Event' dropdown. Click 'Continue'.
Step 8:
For the 'Set up action' step of the Webhook app, input the provided webhook URL (coming soon from the Liine team) into the 'URL' field.
Step 9:
Select 'form' from the 'Payload Type' dropdown.
Step 10:
In the 'Data' section, please ensure that 'name', 'phone' and 'email' are set to be sent (capitalization matters) with the Facebook Form values mapped to them (see screenshot below).
You are also able to map any additional values as 'Custom Fields' to be displayed in the Liine dashboard if you'd like. The screenshot below shows a few examples of common custom fields.
Step 11:
Let the Liine team know that everything is set up and send a test submission through Facebook so that Liine can test.
